Yesterday, Agape Christian Fellowship took part in a joint Praise Night with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Both Agape and IV praise teams lead worship for around 90 people in the infamous Millington 150. Around the room, students were able to creatively worship using paints on a large piece of paper, and separate areas were sectioned for individual prayer as well as specific prayer (a map with persecuted churches was placed in one of the areas). Spoken word was given by one of the IV students and other students shared Bible verses throughout the night. A merry feast at CookOut! was had after the night finished.

Finding God in Literature Part 1 Finding God in Literature Part 2 Click here for Kevin's Talk: Perfect Systems This past Friday, our brother Joshua Kim shared about his experience abroad at the Tel Aviv University in Tel Aviv, Israel. He took four classes during his time there, including a Hebrew language course. Along with the beautiful sights, Josh was able to witness the roots of the Gospel. He shared from his personal journal about the loneliness he experienced and the moments of self reflection that he benefitted from those times. His trip was made possible by the grace of God (and the Meyers-Stern Scholarship). Today was our first official Large Group of 2016! The leadership team introduced our vision for the semester: "We are a family committed to the wholehearted pursuit of God and His Agape love all for the glory of our King." After great worship, Reuben shared a message on the meaning of God's family. We are born and adopted as heirs into His kingdom with a holy Father and King. We are a family built on Christ. We are water buffaloes that love one another to the end. That's so fetch!
